Perkins Tax Services was born out of a dream and a profound bond between father and daughter. The journey began when Dr. Clyde W. Perkins introduced his daughter, Ms. Tramaine Perkins, to the world of taxes at the age of 13. His patient teachings not only imparted valuable knowledge but also ignited a passion in Tramaine for financial services and helping others.
Determined to build on this foundation, Tramaine pursued higher education, earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Grand Canyon University in 2001 with a GPA of 4.0. She complemented her education by completing the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) courses, enhancing her expertise in tax preparation and compliance.
In 2017, inspired by a divine dream that envisioned a successful home-front business, Tramaine co-founded Perkins Tax Services with her father. Together, they established the company as a home-based operation, embracing the personal and welcoming atmosphere that reflects their family values.

Tragically, Dr. Perkins passed away on June 19, 2017, the same year their dream became a reality. His passing was a devastating loss, but Tramaine resolved to carry forward their shared vision, dedicating herself to honoring his legacy. In his memory, the business was renamed Perkins Tax Services: "The Legacy of Dr. CW Perkins" LLC—a heartfelt tribute to his enduring influence and unwavering guidance.

Dr. Clyde W. Perkins earned his Doctorate in Theology in 2009 from the Master’s International School of Divinity.He also graduated from Hobbs New Mexico Jr College graduating with a 4.0 GPA with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics. His values of integrity, faith, and service continue to inspire the company’s mission.​

Ms. Tramaine Perkins earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a 4.0 GPA in 2001 and has been the driving force behind the company’s growth, ensuring every client receives expert care and attention.
